NEW YORK (AP) — Tesla has acquired around $1.5 billion in Bitcoin under an investment policy at the electric car maker headed by Elon Musk, and it plans to begin accepting the digital currency as payment for vehicles soon.
The California company revealed the new strategy in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission early Monday, saying its investment in digital currency and other “alternative reserve assets” may grow.
You’d be forgiven for letting it slip your mind, but last July three spacecraft launched to Mars. Now, after a journey of seven months, they’re all about to arrive.
So, what are they?
The missions are from three different countries – the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), China, and the U.S. – and they all launched within a few weeks of each other.
Is this a Guinness record?
Here is something that most of us probably have never seen - an over-the-air update, applied to possibly hundreds of Tesla electric cars, all at the same time. During the process, cars have emergency lights on.
It seems that the video was recorded at some logistic center where Tesla had a while to update the software of newly produced cars (probably mostly Model 3), before releasing the fleet to customer deliveries.

GOODING — The city recently joined a growing list of municipalities in Idaho that have passed resolutions declaring themselves “Second Amendment sanctuary cities.”
The Gooding City Council unanimously approved a resolution making this declaration during its Jan. 19 meeting. Mayor Jeff Brekke said the point is to affirm the city’s support of the second amendment, as well as the city’s opposition to laws that the council feels infringe on residents’ rights to bear arms.
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —A new Twin Falls business is changing the way people do shopping for meat and potatoes, in a first-of-its-kind meat delivery service in Twin Falls.
The Meat and Potato Co. has officially been open since November 2020, but it was a long time coming, explains owner Travis Dixon.
“This is a business I’ve thought of for years.” Explains Dixon “I come from a food service background, I’ve been in the foodservice business for the last 25 years. And just thought there was an opportunity that a lot of people didn’t have access to some of the food service-type items in retail. And not only that, everything has expanded online with ordering online, shipping online, we see lots of companies that are not necessarily based right here in Idaho or support Idaho, and that’s kind of what we want to do.”
